Burnout isn't just something that feels bad. It's hazardous to your health, so much so that in 2019, the World Health Organization included burnout in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD). 

Burnout will make you sick. And that's exactly why you need to do something about it. 

Otherwise it can lead to a vicious cycle:

Feeling burned out leads to emotional issues (depression, anxiety, dread); these emotional symptoms lead to physical symptoms (exhaustion, headaches, heart problems); feeling bad emotionally and physically can cause you to lapse into bad behaviors (too much tv, eating junk food, not exercising). When you're in this cycle, your symptoms all intensify, leading you to feel even more burned out. 

So while you know you need to work on your recovery from burnout, if you're like most people,

Or unmotivated. . .

so, you tell yourself that you'll that you'll do it later, when things are less stressful.
