You think about what it would be like to work for yourself. You dream of the freedom to set your own schedule, to do what you love to do and get paid for it, to have no artificial limit to your earning potential and no boss but yourself.
But then reality sets in and you realize that right now you have a corporate job working for the man. (Who is that guy anyway?)
Questions and fears rattle around your head like the steel balls in a spray paint can.
I’m terrified to quit and start my own business!
How can I escape from my job?
What am I going to wish I knew before I made the leap?
How can I give myself the best chance of making money?
Is this a smart thing to do? Should I be giving up my corporate career?
Is my business idea even a good one??
And on, and on, and on. . .
Still, despite the obstacles, you really, really want to work for yourself (or at least right now you think you do).
Making the Leap – Time to Start My Own Business
If this all sounds familiar you’re not alone. You see, I noticed that many of my clients who were thinking of quitting their jobs and starting their own businesses struggled with similar issues and fears.
It can feel really overwhelming to deal with this problem. It’s not just hard from one angle. It’s difficult from the perspective of leaving your job and from the perspective of starting something on your own. Throw in some money concerns and a few family members that might doubt you a bit, and it can be very discouraging.
Still, it haunts you. All you can think is, “I really want to start my own business.” or, “When I’m doing my own thing, I won’t have to deal with this.”
What to do Next
What is really helpful in this situation is to get some support and guidance. I’m not talking about getting your website professionally done or even simply learning more about online business. Information and resources won’t do you much good if you realize down the road that you’ve made the wrong choice or you planned poorly.
So many professionals approach the problem of career change from a purely practical point of view without ever addressing the very real fears, worries, and doubts that are core to the issues around making the decision.
You need more information about how to make this move, but you also need the guidance to figure out what the right path is for you.
That’s why I’m really excited to introduce my Business Bloom Coaching call.
This is a live coaching call for people exactly in your situation – if you are working in a job but who want to make the leap to your own business at some point in the future – and have so many questions and fears around it that it’s holding them back.
During this call I’m going to share some great content with you that will really help you clarify your thinking around your business ideas and strategy. Some of what I’ll cover includes:
- Is owning a business right for you?
- How are you going to actually earn money and market your business?
- What are some of the most common mistakes people in this situation make (and how can you avoid them?)
- And more!
But here’s what makes this call really special. You will also get a chance to ask YOUR questions about this transition, about starting your own business, about your particular situation or business idea – anything you want related to this topic. It’s real coaching in real time. You don’t have to sit with these worries and questions – you have a place to get answers and get help.
Make this small investment in yourself and your career and join me for this call. You owe it to yourself to do this before taking on a big move, or before spending one more minute worrying about the transition. You can save your seat here.
If you have questions about this call before signing up or you’re not sure if it’s right for you just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
